Lisa works to ensure consistency and quality across Ecotype’s various projects. She works alongside team members on LEED projects and oversees Ecotype’s participation in GBCI’s Proven Provider program. She also assists our clients with CALGreen Building Code compliance and Energy Star Portfolio Manager documentation.

In 1999 Lisa joined HMC architects as a designer and worked on projects such as the “Frontier Project” Cucamonga Valley Water District where she was involved in development, marketing, and education for the demonstration building. From 2007 until early 2009, she worked as a Sustainable Design and LEED Projects Coordinator for HMC. In that role she was responsible for directing and coordinating sustainable design efforts with project teams as well as LEED Documentation.

In 2010, Lisa began teaching test prep classes for LEED GA and LEED BD+C exams with Green Education Services, a national education provider. Additionally she conducted continuing education sessions in all aspects of sustainable design including LEED building strategies and Life Cycle Assessment. She has just completed the curriculum plan for LEED v4 for Green Education Services.

She finds the opportunities for collaboration to be the most rewarding part of sustainable design. Discovering an unexpected solution through teamwork is very gratifying.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. She has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2007. She has also served on the City of Redlands Sustainability Task Force; a committee charged with leading the development of green building standards for the City.
